About Us
Flint Neighborhood Development and Enrichment, Inc. (FNDE) is a Non-Profit organization established by Stephen Mayfield and Lonnie Mayfield. The Mayfield brothers are Flint’s own native sons, dedicated to the creation and launch of a thriving non-profit organization focused on vocational programming, life skills, and mentorship for Flint City youth ages 6-19 years old including youth with special needs. FNDE will provide career and technical education programs, which include personal and professional development, that will cultivate career opportunities that nurture growth and empowerment. Our industry professionals with years of real-world, on-the-job experience will prepare students enrolled in our program with entry-level employment skills including some program certifications. Our programs serve Flint City students who are interested in learning how to thrive through the utilization of life and career skills. Individuals with special needs and disabilities are encouraged to enroll. Students can find future career skills with the specialized vocational training program at FNDE.
